COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols School Year 2021-2022 Updated 8/24/2021 ● Masks are mandatory in all buildings, classrooms, and sinh hoat areas (including coned areas of parking lots) during Giao Ly and Thieu Nhi times. TEMPERATURE CHECKS AND SCREENING ●  Temperature check will be performed before entering the building. ●  We strongly encourage individuals to screen for symptoms per CDC guidelines before coming to Church. Students may also do the health screening questions electronically via mobile phone (https://dbsafe.ga/). We no longer require proof of it but strongly encourage parents to screen students before coming every Sunday. WATER STATIONS/FOUNTAINS Water fountains will NOT be available for use or to refill ● Student/Teachers Expectations: o Please bring their own reusable water bottle and bring enough water for the day SICK INDIVIDUALS If you or your child are feeling sick, regardless of whether you’re vaccinated or not, please stay home and contact your physician. Please notify us as soon as possible of any Covid positive case so we can begin to contact tracing. ARRIVAL ●  Parents will not be permitted to walk students inside the building. ●  Students form 2-3 lines (6 ft apart) to get a temperature check and get a sticker for the day. The sticker will allow students and teachers to enter the building. ●  It is required that everyone wear masks when entering the building and waiting in the designated waiting area during religious education hours, including outdoor space that is sectioned off for religious education programs. TAKING ATTENDANCE Attendance of teachers and students will be taken every Sunday for contact tracing CLEANING ●  We will follow the CDC’s recommended cleaning guidelines for schools (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/schools-childcare/clean-di sinfect-hygiene.html) ●  We will clean and disinfect highly-touched surfaces and areas frequently and between Thieu Nhi and Giao Ly classes. IN CLASS ●  Students are expected to stay seated until they are dismissed by the teacher. ●  Students are expected to bring their own water bottle ●  Students and teachers are wearing masks at all times ●  OUTSIDE TIME o Face coverings are required outside when not able to maintain social distancing o If students are outside in an open field and can stay 10-15 feet apart, short and brief face mask breaks are allowed. DISMISSAL ●  Hand sanitizer stations will be placed at entrances and exits of buildings. Students will be encouraged to sanitize hands before exiting the building. ●  Dismissal into Giao Ly will be at different staggering times.
